topic 2:
After reading the Prelude and Ch. 1 of "It's What I Do," what do you think of the book so far?
What has impressed you?
I am impressed by how she explains the stories of her time photographing the war. She writes with such detail that I can almost feel the emotions that she had felt while shooting pictures on the frontline in libya.
What do you think of Addario's work?
I think it is truly inspiring because Mihaela did not start this photography project in order to earn an income. She started it because she genuinely was interesting in discovering the world and was drawn to taking portraits of women throughout her travels.
